Maybe the nicest chair of all time.

Posted on 05:14 by gaurav kumar

These photos make me really uncomfortable. But I like what Curtis Mann is doing here. Some contemporary photography has become so spare that it's boring; conversely, some photographers try to push the envelope so far that their work seems sensational and loses that authentic emotional effect. But Mann avoids both traps.

Here, Mann shows a quiet but shocking, made-you-look portrait of suburbia. His photos show how we take safety for granted, and how normalcy can become dangerous in a split second. Or you could interpret them as showing how something could be very wrong in your everyday life (for example, your child is depressed), and you might not realize it. Awesome work, Curtis. This is right up my neurotic alley!

He said that--although he did not find her or any other woman remotely attractive--he did appreciate her retro bathing suit. Later on, I stumbled upon the British store Toast, which has the cutest 1950's-style swimwear. Take a look...
